What is it that makes you different?
The truth is we struggle with the word different, because similar sounds so easy. Different requires you to get up and chase your dreams instead of hiding in the crowd. Different is scary, because it entails us to be bold, to be brave, to get up and do something. Following the crowd feels comfortable, there are no risks, and it requires no faith. Being different means you have to step out of your comfort zone and chase your dreams. Stepping out of your comfort zone brings a whole new world of scary possibilities; failure, loss, loneliness. But it also brings on a new wave of amazing possibilities; happiness, success, love. You can spend the rest of your life safely doing something that you hate, or you can take a risk and do something that you will love. Jimmy Johnson said “The difference between ordinary and extra ordinary is that little extra.” We all have something we can show the world, so this is me showing the world “Through the Lens”.
